Central location right next to the mountain railway
Our apartments are situated in a quiet location in the centre of Mayrhofen. The Penkenbahn mountain railway, which takes you to the ski and hiking area of Mountopolis, is right next door. Additionally, you can reach the town centre with its shopping street and numerous cafes, restaurants, and bars in just about a 1-minute walk! It doesn't get any better than this!
Car
Via the A12 Inntal Motorway (toll sticker required!!!), take the exit for Zillertal. Follow the Zillertal Highway No. 169 to Mayrhofen (about 30 km). At the roundabout, go straight ahead, past the train station and also past the “Einfahrt Mitte” entrance. Immediately after the bridge, turn left into Dornaustraße (right by the Red Cross station). Continue straight for about 150 metres, and you will see our Haus Modau on the right-hand side of the road!

Train
By train (ÖBB), you can reach Jenbach station. From there, it's approximately 30 km by Zillertalbahn or Zillertal Bus to Mayrhofen station. From the station, it's a 5-10 minute walk to our apartments. Local taxis are also available at the station, and will bring you to our house comfortably in 1-2 minutes.
Plane
The airports Innsbruck (74 km), Munich (197 km), and Salzburg (170 km) are all conveniently located near the Zillertal. With daily scheduled flights, these airports connect you to destinations all across Europe. You can easily reach the holiday region of Mayrhofen in the Zillertal by airport taxi or shuttle.
